"The idea of doing this album came after I went back to Switzerland. I was very satisfied of what I did in New York, musically speaking. However I've partecipated in 2 albums with an African band and recorded a live concert, but I was missing something... An CD of mine.
Hence I started to compose some ideas that I had, and arrange a couple of standards, thence I called John and Dylan (which they had never met before), sent my ideas of the tunes, and get everything ready bureaucratically speaking.
After a couple of months, I booked a flight ticket and flew back to the Big Apple.
We rehearsed at Dylan's studio, in Washington Heights (Manhattan), fixing and practicing the new songs for 2 days and the recording them the following 2 days .
Thanks to their profesionalism and music skills, everything went through very smoothly and quickly."
Interweave was recorded at Dubway Studios in Wall Street, Mixed by Jonas Macullo and mastered at AB Nautilus Mastering in Milan.
